I did not although CREE has a confirmed buy signal to go with the market reversal. Looks like a great pick up. I will look for an entry point but am still hesitant.

I just started looking a little deeper into CREE and saw something that spooked me. 6 directors have been making regular sales of stock since it broke $61.00 per share. Additionally, the P/E ratio is currently 98.6x. The semiconductor industry where CREE falls has an average PE of 31.8x. While it looks as if CREE could contain explosive potential, after seeing that management is ditching shares (in large quantities btw, one director liquidated 50% of his shares, others 10-30%), and with it being as overvalued as it's P/E seems to show, I would probably pass on it for the moment.
The good news however, is if they can achieve the profit targets that have set for 2010 and forward, their stock could do very well. the 12 month forward P/E is only 41.8x vs the P/E over the last 12 months being double, indicating management expects earnings to increase greatly, however, their action of selling contradicts their predictions. Insider sales are always discouraging to me though...

Thanks for the warning. Heavy insiders selling could be indicating stock is over-value. I will keep my eyes on it, if it sells off with heavy volume, I will dump it. That could explain why the stock could not go up on yesterday's market big move?

The stock can swing big tonight after hours for CREE. It is earning time. I am hoping that is good for CREE. Apple is also reporting tonight. I am too scare to buy Apple for now.
